5122nd Departmento Munitorum Regiment
To help manage and direct army groups, when one is founded, the Departmento Munitorum also found an associated Departmento Munitorum Headquarters Regiment, usually numbered the same as the army group which they are assigned to. Each regiment is made up of a mix of adepts from the Departmento, but also officers selected from the General Staff, who provide leadership and maintain strategic control, whilst the adepts keep the records, allocate pay, gather resources and so forth.
The 5122nd Headquarters Regiment is led by Staff-Colonel Juha Jussila , who is there made the Executive Officer of the 5122nd Imperial Army . Amongst the "regiment" there will be veteran guardsmen, women and officers from all corners of the galaxy, each with a unique set of talents and experience, who have been brought together to each fill a specific duty for the army group. They will also be supplemented and supported by countless scribes and adepts, all non-military but all organised along the lines of a military company and all of whom make the war effort possible by ensuring food, water, reinforcements and munitions are allocated and arrive in time, establishing semi-permanent or permanent STC structures and generally making waging war possible
Structure
The regiment is a regiment in name only, and is not formerly structured in arny preset way. Staff Colonel Jussila is in overall command, but has divided the other members of the General Staff, along with the required number of adepts and non-commissioned officers, into different sectins within his Headquarters. The fluid nature of Departmento Munitorum Regiment also allows Staff-Colonel Jussila to reconfigure personnel as he requires in response to campaign events and rising threats.
At present he has divided his headquarters into Operations, Intelligence, Medical, Logistics, Communications and Supply. Each will have a highly qualified specialist leading the section
