The most senior rank a guardsman can reach within the Astra Militarum Regimental structure and tends to be the rank held by a regimental commanding officer.
This isa different rank to a Staff Colonel, who is a low ranking member of the General Staff cadre

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Once at this postion, the encumbant tends to relinquish the title upon promotion to the Departmento Munitorum General Staff, retirement, death (either in duty or execution) or due to punative reasons
