Valdez' Vanguard

Officially designated 3rd Kuati Mobile Infantry Regiment, G Company, Valdez' Vanguard are a company within the 3rd who have seen their fair share of trials and tribulations and have come through it stronger, tempered in the heat of battle. Whether its dispatching heretics or xenos, The Vanguard live up to their name, always first in and last out, they can be found in the thick of the action.
The company has suffered its fair share of the regiment's losses throughout its time, such as the exterminatus of Mean Green which saw 75% of the company destroyed, or the cleansing of the Durganian Hive which should have seen them sterilised with full honours at the hands of the Inquisition, only to be saved by a shadowy Inquisitor who placed the entire regiment under their protection and inducted them into their retinue.

The company is laid out in the regiment's TO&E charts in a uniformed way that is expected of Kuati Regiments:

Culture

As with all Kuati regiments, the boot camp instructors instil a espirt d'corp into each recruit, regardless of what division of the Kuati forces they join. For the MI, the tenent of "never leave a man behind" is very much a real thing and troopers will do whatever they can to bring one of their home, even if is a token gesture of returning their dog tags so they can be returned to their loved ones or placed in the regiment's hall of remembrance back on Kuat

Assets

The Vanguard is purely an infantry company but, as with the rest of 3rd Regiment, it has close ties with the 3rd Transport and logistics regiment who provide them with chimera and valkyrie transports hen required. Otherwise, much like the rest of the Imperial Guard, for artillery, heavey support and armour they rely on other regiments attachdd to the army group. It has been noticed that when Kuati regiments fight together they perform better and create a stronger bond than when allied with regiments of other worlds
