WorldEmber 2020
It's the most wonderful time of the year...
It's that time of the year again. Ten thousand words of worldbuilding in one month, just after the frantic word vomit that is NaNoWriMo, with the extra bonus challenge that comes with the Year of the Dumpster Fire. I was playing with the thought of writing 25k words this year, but now, as of December 13th, I'm realizing it's probably not gonna happen. And that's okay.
Apparently, according to the articles I have at the halfway point, this year is the Year of the Bards. Not gonna lie, the superstars of my world needed some more substantial lore than they had, and it has been a blast writing about them. And after spending 111 111 words with Thrannan the Bard during NaNoWriMo I had so much inspiration to work on them that I couldn't not work on them, to put it that way.
Don't worry - this article is not part of my WorldEmber stats. I made sure to exclude it.
NEVER CEASE THE BARDOM!
