Saben the merchant
Saben is a merchant along with his wife Minbi. They married in 1772.
They will buy and sell anything legal if they can make a profit from it, but they primarily deal in food implements: cutlery, dishes, pots and pans and the like. They once sold a large order to the celebrity chef, Roodnat and bring this up at every opportunity. "If our wares are good enough for the greatest chef in West Colassia they are good enough for your kitchen!"
Saben and his wife have seven adult children (three sons and four daughters), plus one son who died of illness as a child.
They have nine grand children, eight of which they see regularly.
Uripos, brewer supplier, born in 1773. He lives in Ivanna City with his wife and three children.
Tanoa, tailor's wife, born in 1775. She lives King's Lake with her husband and four children.
Nivyn, traveling spice merchant, born in 1779. He is unwed and childless though he wants to start courting when he gets a stronger financial footing.
Celbys, merchant's daughter, butcher's wife born in 1782. She lives in King's Lake with her husband but works part time in her parent's merchant stalls. She has a one son under a year old.
Wolnove the "merchant", born in 1787. She is not a very successful merchant and has sponged a lot of money off her family. She is unwed and has a bastard son who is about 14, which is pretty close to a human 9.
Rasdon, gnome illuminator, born in 1798. Rasdon works an illuminator, copyist, and book binder.
Ragani the gnome Guardian born in 1799. Ragani is best known for being a loyal adventuring companion to Kormatin.
Relationships
History
They married relatively young, but not scandalously young and popped out kids pretty quickly. They have a good relationship which has evolved to be platonic as they got older, but is still solid. They work together every day and often finish each other's sentences.
