Knights of the Hearth

The Knights of the Hearth are a small Tender sponsored knightly order geared towards sponsoring adventurers.
The Knights of the Hearth are friendly with most Kantoc nobles but they don't answer to them.  Their knights are highly mobile and dedicated to defending the common people above all other concerns.  They often specialize in taking down powerful monsters making them popular subjects of stories.
They have a few high born sponsors but they are one of the few knightly orders that operates on frequent small donations by lower class people.  In a lot of cases the Knights of the Hearth are a little cash strapped and their equipment and presentation is a little less fancy than other knights but in somewhats that make's them even more popular with the commoners.
