Countess Erian Kovenoth is the most eligible bachelorette in all of Swynfaredia. She is a countess with no children and is magically powerful and known to be intelligent and ambitious. House Gorisonad believes she is one of the few Kovenoth dragonbloods worth watching.
She recently caused something of a scandal by selling some heirloom magical items for gold breaking an informal House Kovenoth taboo. Erian paid off her counties debts and is investing the remaining into infrastructure and investments to collect financial dividends in the future. Her stated goal is to establish a school architecture on her lands.
The most valuable item she sold was a multicolored cloak with that augments social attributes. She sold it to Countess Eleri ap Manasch.
The second most valuable item she sold was an especially gaudy necklace of poison detection jewelry that also has various other low level Divination spells on it. She sold it to a lady from House Cefnor. Countess Erian is quoted to have said "Anyone worthy of being countess should be able to perform her own Divinations," and this is something that impressed Madrona ap Gorisonad.
She also sold a magical bastard sword to a semi-retired adventurer in a relatively unimportant bloodline. Compared to the other magical items she sold, this was the least scandalous only worth mentioning because of the other two sales. Almost like "arson, murder, and jaywalking!".
The one magical item she kept was a magical armor buckle which was easily the least heirloom-y of her County treasures.
Countess Erian has not spoken a word about the imminent attack on Fumaya and she has not comitted any troops. There is speculation that she is hoping a lot of Fumayan castles become damaged, so she can make money off their repairs.
