Eleri is only the second richest member of House Manasch, but she may be most powerful. She is both the County of Afon-Manasch and the Manasch Matriarch.
Whereas her cousin the Count of Manasch is seemingly stacking coins for no other reason than to stack coins, Eleri is playing the long game.
While she certainly has no problem stacking coins, she has quietly buying more and debts owed by various lords and ladies in House Kovenoth. So far she is just collecting interest payments, but the Kovenoths wait with baited breath for when Eleri seeks to use her leverage.
Note, Eleri's husband is from House Kovenoth and she is using her position as matriarch to try to stack up more Manasch-Kovenoth marriages.
The lesser members of House Manasch are generally following Eleri's lead on buying up Kovenoth debt but they are pushing back against her on supporting more Manasch-Kovenoth marriages.
She is at least a fourth circle Diviner and a first circle Conjurer though it is widely assumed she public underplays her full abilities.
