Ocean of Tears

The Ocean of Tears lies to the northeast of Evandyr, and is said to be the ocean crossed when Jhar'gorn was destroyed, and the ancient Elven glory was destroyed in a terrible war between opposing philosophies that ruined the once great unity of the Elves. As the few survivors wept, they realized their teleportation magicks were useless, with nowhere to go that was still existing, and so, aboard flotsam and pieces of wood of their ancestors, they drifted across the Ocean of Tears. Getting inspiration from the ancient designs of the First Jeriec Empire when they encountered them in the past, they managed to find their way across this massive Ocean, to the Isles of Erinion.
Not many of them survived, of the twenty thousand or so survivors from the entire continent of Jhar'gorn, it is said only one and a half thousand made it aboard less then fifty ramshackle ships, the rest being taken by the ocean, their corpses never seen again.
