Lammu

Lammu is an area of hilly and broken terrain lying between the Barrier Peaks to the north and Trustor to the south. As such, it forms a critical, relatively passable route from Perin-Galath to the east and the costal lands around Sanctuary to the east. As a result, control of Lammu is something that has been fought over for thousands of years.
The Lammurians  themselves are ethnically distinct from the Perinese lowlanders of Perin-Garth. Some say that there is a strain of Orc blood in them. Their society is clan based and Lammu has no major towns. Each clan maintains its own hilltop fort or tower, from which it wars constantly with all surrounding clans.
'As honest as a Lammurian' is a polite way of saying that someone is not to be trusted, and a Lammurian deal is one that neither side have any intention of honouring.
