Barrier Peaks

The great Barrier Peaks are some of the highest mountains known in the land and stretch from east to west for almost three hundred leagues.  Almost uncrossable except for a few dangerous passes and Dwarven tunnels, they are inhabited by fearsome rocs, mighty frost giants and other terrible creatures.  Few dwarven holds remain inhabited here, for although there is untold wealth remaining under these mighty peaks, there are also many horrors that lie forgotten in the dark roots under them.
