Acoria

Acoria is on the southern coast of Vanareon.  A land of rolling hills, it was for a long time a land of many warring city states.

Geography

Acoria is a rugged land, hilly uplands cut into by numerous narrow river valleys.

Climate

Acoria has warm wet winters, when the winds blow from the south-west, and hot dry summers when the winds blow from the south-east, pulling in air from the deserts of Alsareon.

Fauna & Flora

Acorian plants and animals are highly adapter to the hot, dry summers.
Most of the trees are scrubby pines, such as tamarisks. It also supports many olive trees, which are farmed for their oil, and vines, which produce large amounts of wine.

Natural Resources

The main agricultural crops of Acoria are:

• Olives
• Wine
• Barley

Acoria also has a number of mines, mainly copper, silver and iron.

History

Most Acorian cities have Akrel as their primary deity.
