Massacre at Torsten
The Massacre at Torsten was a wartime disaster that occurred during the Doric-Aijian War. This event occurred during the occupation of Torsten by Doric forces primarily led by Surcount Veli of Ilkweir who had a widespread reputation of being a ruthless and harsh disciplinarian. After a dispute between members of the city and the Doric occupational forces became more heated due to the severe lack of food caused by the siphoning of supplies by the Doric forces, a resistance force set on a campaign of sabotage of Doric supplies and equipment. Surcount Veli replied to these actions by rounding up the men of Torsten and executing three of five, a large portion of the city would be set alight and other atrocities also occurred.
