Bardas

Bardas is a prominent god with The Hallowed Faith, where he is known as the God of Justice and Equality. Bardas has many followers amongst the more wealthy and noble-born amongst the population of the central kingdoms where the central tenants of the gods manifestations are highly laudable within those social classes, especially amongst those involved in the professions of law and judiciary. His worship is particularly prominent in the Kingdom of Sarbrynia where the extensive bureaucratic structure takes great influence from the canons of Bardas.   It is believed Bardas developed his connection with his core tenants from a rift that came between himself and his brother Nuro, both sons of the sky god Jala. Their father had come to adjudicate their disagreement over their rights to various tribes and people of men on Tuono's Corpse, Nuro eventually being granted vastly more, especially those close to the holy city of Tempala, primarily as he was the preferred son of Jala. Bardas, although outraged at the decision, was no match for his brother, the god of war. Instead, he would look to espouse his hopes for fairer and just means of settlement, especially in his dealings with humans.
