Suolija

Suolija, God of fatherly protection and guidance, is a well-loved god among those of the Hallowed Faith. Suolija took upon himself the role of protector of humans from demons and malicious Gods, serving to keep them from the harm of the supernatural. He would also seek to help the humans' race become strong, and one day as is his vision, fend for themselves within their mortal plane. He earned respect amongst his fellow Gods fighting the demons that would plague their creations, though Suolija had a particular fondness for Humans, his favourite creation of the Gods. Though he was a formidable warrior, perhaps even a match for Nuro, he would eventually be bested by the primordial serpent demon, Dartavoss, who was all but impervious to Suolija's attacks. Suolija was adamant that the demon must be defeated and petitioned the gods to find a solution. At first, Nuro attempted to slay the demon, his fierce dislike of the serpent demons being his greatest motivation, though even he was bested. Their response was that perhaps the humans could slay the demon, to which Suolija was greatly displeased, worried this would only bring about the destruction of the human race at an accelerated pace, though he was without any alternatives. In an effort to help the human champion of the Trials at Tempala in their mission to defeat Dartavoss, Suolija would construct a magic beacon, capable of guiding the human champion towards the evil serpent.
