Manidweepa is a place where 3 and 4 dimensions regularly interact. They appears as rifts that twist and turn in recognizable patterns around the space that make certain places physically closer than what they may initially seem as wrinkle currents.
Coincidently, the space that was between two points also temporarily disappears or accelerates forward or backwards in time; making time travel fairly easy in the space.

The stated objectives of the court is to safeguard their primary timestream by enforcing a set of seemingly arbitrary rules that only they understand.

Territories

Prison

The mucube detainees rank amongst the most powerful Locals, Natives and Alien with zetetic powers.
Those held here had specifically tried to emulate Maṛaiyar and seize the territories of many capable entities. They were thus restrained and captured when subsequent targets collaborated towards their downfall.

Military

Penaga

The ptychē do not foster any military strength of their own. They have been easily able to hide in a compressed pocket of space inside a formidable ethereal's territory.
In the not-rare moments, when they sought to influence outside events, they were able to rely on the caretaker, the penaga or other leaders to act on their designs.

Temporal Manipulation

The court has, many-a-time, enlisted foreign actors to, knowingly or unknowingly, conduct assignments for them.
The ptychē are not capable of the scale of social manipulation as the gavians, so improve on the chances of success by equipping their pawns with selective time adaptive items.

Direct Travel

Ptychē do not typically leave their space, so they are easy to find.

Passengers on the Timeline can offboard at Cloche Station and play hide-and-seek for the pyrolysis.

Infrastructure

Pyrolysis

The only entrance into the ptychē's true domain is a deceptive gem-like protrusion embedded into a random wall inside the Cloche Station. It is a 3m tall oval with a bronze rim and smokey shine. The pyrolysis does not allow light, sound or magic effects through it, nor can anyone see anything other than the red and grey smoke waving inside it.

Mythology & Lore

Skeleton War

A multi-dimensional, multi-temporal conflict initiated by the king of conquest that ended long ago. Yet is still ongoing beyond Nostrum.
During that time, the ptychē had hidden behind the Cloche Caretaker and did very little to contest him directly. After his defeat, the ptychē swore to police the timelines to prevent any cross pollination.

Political Influence & Intrigue

Unfriendly Rival

The court and the TTA nominally have the same goals.
However, the gavians are an ongoing species from an alternate matter universe and their motive will always be biased towards preserving themselves. While the ptychē are extinct, and pride themselves on a holistic view.

This has often put them in serious contention with each other.
