Cristina Fonte was born in Florence on the original Earth. She worked hard to pursue her dreams of being a social worker and to help the flood of immigrants that had been pouring into Italy due to the inclement weather that pollution had caused on Earth. When the transposition hit her she was halfway through her college studies and suddenly found herself separated from her family, friends, and home. Latching onto a group of people who looked like they knew what they were doing she traveled in the woods learning how to survive in the world of Pacem without any of the technology she had grown up using. Eventually, she made her way to Earth where she struggled to adapt to the confines of the city after running free in the forests of Pacem. She quickly found herself helping the other refugees who were pouring into the city. When King Maffeo Rex came to examine the gates to Earth she was working the walls helping the injured and elderly. The King was immediately smitten and he chased her hand for months until finally earning her hand in marriage. Having royalty forced upon her she did her best to continue to serve the disadvantaged and downtrodden of the Rex Kingdom.

General Physical Condition
The Queen kept herself active with hunts, hikes, guided expeditions and wandering through the streets of Earth. She often teased her husband about how she was the one who should be leading cavalry charges instead of him. Even late in her life she was an expert marksman and routinely practiced her sword skills with the Royal Guard.

Her time in the forests left a handful of scars and gashes across her body but for the most part, it was well known that the Queen was one of the most beautiful people in the whole of the Rex Kingdom. Her hair length and style would change often and every time it did a flurry of copycats would style their hair in the same style to varying degrees of success.

Her bright blue eyes were said to be gifts from the sky itself. Dozens of artists attempted to capture her likeness in portrait but none ever came away satisfied that they had captured the ethereal beauty of the first Queen.

Every fledgling designer dreamed of having the Queen wear their garments. Some would empty their entire fortune into having one dress brought before the Queen for her to wear or not. Her every movement was studied and copied throughout the Rex Kingdom. As she became more comfortable ruling as the Queen she adopted more purple into her wardrobe to match the colors of the kingdom. No matter the occasion Cristina was the best dressed and her dominance over the kingdom's fashion choices endures to this day.

On Earth
Cristina Rex, formally Fonte, grew up wealthy in the Italian city of Florence. As a child, she watched as countless refugees crossed over treacherous waters to try and forge a better life for themselves. She was so inspired by these people's courage that she decided she wanted to spend her life helping them reach their goals. She was well on her way to this career when the transposition ended all hopes of that occurring.
On Pacem
Joining with a group of adventurous people Cristina journeyed into one of the many forests that dot the landscape of Pacem. Hunting the local wildlife and fashioning primitive tools just to survive she got a first-hand experience of how dangerous this new world could be. After five years of wandering the wilderness with her band of people, they stumbled upon a caravan that was headed to the city of Earth. By the time she arrived at Earth King Maffeo Rex had already established his monarchy and was endeavoring to improve the city to serve as the heart of his kingdom. Cristina saw an opening to return to her original dream job and tearfully bid farewell to the band of hunters she had been spending her time with up until then. Jumping in to begin helping the overwhelmed city guard with the flood of people pouring into the city Cristina established herself as the authority figure for when it came to those who were just arriving at the city gates. A chance encounter with King Maffeo Rex would seal her fate as the future Queen of the Rex Kingdom. She wowed him with both her spirit and knowledge and though she was pursued by a host of suitors the king was able to ensure he spent the most time with her and after months of effort a surprise pregnancy pushed the two of them into a formal marriage. This series of events was known to be a great delight to the King.
As Queen of the Rex Kingdom
Queen Cristina was initially occupied with the raising of her son, Pippo Rex, for the entirety of the beginning of her rule. Once he began to display his precocious talents and Magyk abilities she quickly realized she was not the right tutor for her son and together with his father set about ensuring he got the best education gold could buy. As Pippo Rex grew into his own as a prince so did his mother. Her efforts to care for the poorest and weakest citizens of the Rex Kingdom were both successful and inspirational. Entire districts of Earth would hold contests just for the right to host her for a speech. Her fashion sense and confidence inspired entirely new lines of fashion for the Rexiots. Many orphanages and community kitchens were personally funded and designed by the Queen and those unfortunate souls who have to beg often pray to Queen Cristina for luck.

The Queen successfully created an entire infrastructure to support the poorest citizens of the Rex Kingdom. She built over a dozen orphanages to house the survivors of the initial transposition. Following this, she found locations for clinics, hospitals, and the land to grow herbs with medicinal properties. The Queen also invested her shares from the crown into community kitchens, funding door-to-door doctors, and reduced-price living areas. She also helped her son Pippo Rex build the History of Humanity Library when he found the inspiration to do so.Failures & Embarrassments
The Queen was quick to blame herself for any lives that were lost needlessly. Often times the King would find her weeping in her bed feeling as though she wasn't doing enough to help the people of the kingdom. During the The Rebellion of King Tyre she struggled to maintain control of the kingdom while worrying over the safety of her husband and trying to take care of the young Pippo Rex.
