Pacem

84 years ago humanity found itself transported from Earth to a new world. A world bristling with new creatures, races, and magic. Those humans banded together for survival and founded the Rex Kingdom. As they came into contact with the other races of the land they soon learned that there was a way off of this dangerous new world. If they collected seven of the nine orbs of magic then they could summon a portal to return them back to their homes on Earth.   However, this discovery was made almost 75 years ago and still, not one single orb has been found. As generation after generation is born into the world now known to be called Pacem by those empires with further histories than humanities the elders of the Rex Kingdom have begun to fear that they will never escape from this world. Many of the other races they have met here seem to also be quite content to never leave this world nor search for the orbs.   Now a new King, Stoldo Rex, has arisen to lead the humans and he considers himself to be the last hope of humanity ever escaping back to Earth. As he funds hordes of explorers, expeditions, and glory hunters to seek the orbs not only will humanity be affected, but every race living on Pacem. The future of Pacem hangs in the balance as forces beyond anyone's knowledge plot the downfall, and ruin of all that stand before them.
