Quackerly Green Preservation Society
Background
Quackerly Green is situated in the middle of Trapip, one of the four largest continents on Unity in The Aspiration System. It sits in the Eider River Valley and is one of about 20 similarly sized villages in Eidershire.
Quackerly Green is home to several philosophers and a well-known painter, as well as several aspiring artists. The average age of the inhabitants is 30 years old, trending slightly older than the average age for the planet.
Structure
While the Quackerly Green Preservation Society (QGPS) is technically a community group and therefore has no kind of formal structure, there is a leader. It is made up of three long-term members, who have all lived in the village their whole lives. The eldest, a woman well into her forties, is simply known as Lady Mip, and prides herself on three things; never having been sick a day in her life, never having left the village, having the best rosehip jam at the annual village fête. The remaining members fluctuate within the hierarchy of the group based on whether or not they are in Lady Mip's favour. Master Glibmibtob-Mabbabbabpam long held the second-in-command position until a very unfortunate comment at the weekly luncheon by Duchess Halptropklap about the delicious fragrance of his marmalade. Lady Mip, disgruntled at being outshone, quickly demoted him.Culture

I can hear 'the greater good' from Hot Fuzz echoing in my head. This is fun. I can just imagine their meetings.
