Enchalmida

Enchalmida is a city on the eastern coast of Scalados that acts as the primary trade port for the central and northern parts of the kingdom.
Notably, it is the easternmost navigable harbor in Belcantas, and thus the departure point for most explorers looking to cross the Saunfinia Sea into the Mystic Lands.

Demographics

Unusually for Scalados, Enchalmida does not have a majority Wood Elf population. Wood elves make up only around 40% of the population. The town boasts the largest Sun Elf diaspora in the kingdom, with a population around 35% sun elf. This leads to a unique blend of the two oft-opposing cultures not seen anywhere else in Belcantas.

Districts

Oronto District

This is the most famous district in the city, which contains its most historic and prominent ports. Important landmarks include the headquarters of the Starpath Society, the historic floating homes of the Premiere and the Kaïwel, and the Adianté Pier, from which the port's most important journeys (such as the famed voyage of the L'invitacion to the Mystic Lands) have departed.

A-Ruimenya

This northwestern neighborhood contains the Church of the Golden Fields, Enchalmida's largest worship site, dedicated to Dagda and run by priests trained at the nearby Ruimenya-in-Dagda temple-campus. Its markets sell produce grown in Ruimenya's famous orchards, at prices even the poorest of Enchalmida can readily afford.
