Dagda
Dagda (also known as Dagda the Red or The Bearded King) is the god of the hearth and homeland in the Wild Dynasty.
In stories of Dagda, he tends to be affable, optimistic, and easy-going. However, when someone threatens something he loves—be it his lands, his people, or his beloved wife Danu—his justice is terrifying and swift.
He is usually depicted as a rotund, broad-shouldered man with a red beard, carrying a large sack of seeds over his shoulder. Most depictions of the god display him as a Half-Elf; alternately, some imagine him with Wood Elf features, despite his ever-present beard.
Tenets of Faith
Followers of Dagda believe in the inherent goodness of the world and the people in it. To them, each season grants a new gift to collect, and all contribute in their own way to the rhythm of life. They believe in showing grace and hospitality to all; no matter their background or past actions, no one is truly beyond forgiveness.
