A Tale of Golden Apples

A Tale of Golden Apples is a cautionary tale told in Scalados involving Dagda of the Wild Dynasty and the blessings he bestows upon an unnamed young man. It is a relatively new addition to the dynasty's lore, appearing in scattered ballads around the outlying regions of Kyolondë and the Citadel of the Wild in roughly the Y1060s.

Historical Basis

The King Zantios mentioned in the first lines of the myth is Eldatar Zantios I, who reigned from Y618 to Y782 CPX. During that period, wildfires known to have been caused by the Wild Gods occurred only once, in Y743.
