Goals and Motivation

My first summer camp of 2021 was exciting and I want to capture that same emotion this year. I worked on my world Eceon and those articles made way for new ones.
This year I want to focus on my sci fi world, Necumia. Mainly the technology department. I also want to explore the Qieq’ars culture and their way of living. My river article made me think about how they would live under icy circumstances.

Challenge Goal

I want to achieve a copper badge and have a minium of 400 words per article. I want to read a reasonable amount of 20 articles.

Themes

Expanse

This theme I don’t have any ideas for but maybe the ice continent's of Almagrecia and Jyvasian where the Qieq’ars have lived for thousands of years. This will hopefully help me discover more of their culture and connect these to different articles.

Leadership

I have a few ideas in mind for this theme. The Royales in this world and the Royals in my first world Ilthci which I haven’t made an article for yet. There’s a few leaders in Military that come to mind as well.

Discovery

I already have ideas for this and I’ve been hoping to get these articles done but thought they were a big project. Some articles like Bionic Arm and Illusionary Interface already fit this theme so they’ll make nice references when I need it.

Monstrous

I have no clue what could fit into this theme but I hope to find inspiration in the community when it comes.

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from many different places like movies, books and music. Black panther is one of those inspirations because of all of the high technology. Another source of inspiration comes from Doctor who one of my favorite shows of all time. It explores many different aliens which help inspire my own. The world anvil discord is also a great burst of inspiration. I can always ask for help for ideas if I need it.
When I write I listen to music to help me focus. I have a playlist that is entirely French songs. Having music in a differentlanguage keeps me relaxe and focused.

Prep Work

I write during the night because that’s when everything is less crazy but I want to try to write during the day since I’ll have more time. It’s going to be hard to find a place to write because I have siblings which make focusing on writing harder. The main places I write is in my bedroom and in the living room.
I hope to write for at least 20 minutes when I have time. I have other things to focus on during the month of July so there’s no guarantee I’ll be writing consistently although I don’t want to write everyday since I’ll probably burn out very quickly.

Communities

The World Anvil discord is my first choice for when I need help with something. I’ll probably be hanging out in the #summercamp-2022 channel on days when I really need it. The streams will help too with different interpretations of the prompts.
