Daant Arga (Dant Ar-gah)

The original world that was landed on by those who made the journey from Earth to the Orionis Cluster, it was the only habitable planet in the system at the time. Once they had established themselves on the planet that they called New Terra, the original settlers began the terraforming efforts on the other planets in the system - efforts that eventually culminated in all eight of the planets in the system either being inhabitable or at least capable of being used via robotic technology.
Because the planet relied so heavily upon technology before The Great Collapse, having become a city planet with the only foliage or open land being small public or private gardens, the aftereffects of the event caused the planet to become largely abandoned. After The Core Senate was removed from the planet, which moved the center of activity in the system to Rasnes Betha where it remains today, New Terra was eventually renamed Daant Arga by those who remained on the planet (whether there by choice or the lack of it).
Now, because of the massive number of abandoned and crumbling structures that remain from its once-proud days, Daant Arga is a hive of criminal activity in the system with small, scattered pockets that retain some semblance of law and order. Unfortunately, these pockets are usually ruled by one of the The Gangs of Daant Arga and they tend to not be very nice to those who aren't a member of the gang.

Geography

The geography of Daant Arga is entirely a massive, desolate cityscape. There are a few places where the small public or private gardens that used to belong to businesses or rich former inhabitant have flourished instead of dying from a lack of care, sometimes expanding outward from their original confines to consume the buildings they were originally contained within. Most of these surviving gardens lie within gang territory but there are a handful that exist outside of it.
Many of the buildings within what is left of the city planet are crumbling, more of them than not completely uninhabitable. These have also been salvaged over the years, viable parts stripped to use to shore up buildings in better shape. Buildings within gang territory tend to be in better shape than those without but come at the cost of those who occupy them having to pay fees to the gangs in order to remain there.

Flora & Fauna

Due to the planet being entirely covered in a cityscape, there is not very much flora or fauna. Any big game fauna on the planet would have been in zoos on the planet but those were evacuated with everyone else that left years before. There is a large population of smaller animals, however: cats, dogs, rats and mice, and other small animals such as that that are capable of surviving such a place. The avian population was always populous in the city and persists, many tall empty buildings being taken over entirely by large raptors.

Natural Resources

There are no natural resources on Daant Arga anymore. Years of mining and drilling into the planet to dig deeper to add more levels of housing stripped the planet bare long ago.

Tourism

With its reputation, Daant Arga isn't at all a place where anyone goes casually. Either those visiting the planet are looking for something (or someone) specific or they are looking to be involved (or already involved) in criminal activity.
