Word of Abrax

The Word of Abrax are a religious group who worship an ancient, lost entity, supposedly the oldest and most powerful of all the deities. They travel around Naru, spreading their message and recruiting followers.

Supposedly, Abrax is an ancient creature drifting through the astral sea in some sort of prison. By gathering more followers, the movment believes they can free this being and have even more power and rewards bestowed among them.

Followers

The followers of Abrax often adorn themselves in light blue clothing with the embelem of a diamond in a prominent position. They usually carry a special staff which serves as their spellcasting focus.
Prayer to Abrax occurs once in the morning and once before sleep although there are no set times for this. A simple ritual using incense and reciting chapters from a holy book is all that is required of the followers.
Every so often Abrax asks for knowledge and manifests itself into the dreams of their followers where they feed off of their experiences, rewarding those it deems more valuable with helpful insights and information relevant to their lives and situations.

Powers

Abrax grants their power to those deemed truly worthy once they have completed a set of trials. The final trial usually involves procuring a valuable diamond and sacrificing it in an hour long ritual dedicated to Abrax.
Devout followers are known to possess great capability for healing as well as devestating destruction to their foes when challenged.
