Mechanus

An outer plane representing the alignment of lawful neutral, a place of law and equality, equal parts dark and light, equal amounts of the elements, every thing in its right place.
This plane is filled with an infinite number of interlocking gears that are often thousands of miles across. These gears all turn incredibly slowly and are said to be computing a task so big that no one entity can understand it. These gears all have their own local gravity and atmosphere, influenced by those who live there.
The main inhabitents of this plane are constructs, most noteably the modrons with their many variations who are the only natives of Mechanus. These modrons are ruled and controlled by an entity known as Primus.
