Mas Shief
Background
Mas is his own Tabaxi, not a companion to some adventurer with a death wish. That being said, he wouldn’t mind a few friends, people don’t seem to trust someone whose goal in life is to be infamous. He doesn’t even revel in his spoils, he simply enjoys the heist, the chase, the scene! Born into the Padfoot Clan, the youngest of his litter by mere minutes, he was never interested in partaking in the family businesses (bards, song writers and instrument crafters), always wanting more (especially things he could not have, like other people’s stuff). When he told his parents of his aspirations, they were disappointed, their only son was not willing to carry on their legacy (if you could even call it that), but understood that if “adventuring was in his blood” (he lied) they would not stand in his way… So they bid him farewell, and good luck. He changed his name to Mas Shief and wreaked minor havoc all over Rayas, and would occasionally send some of his “earnings” back to his family.Life Events
Long story short, Mas did fairly well for himself for a few years, until he mingled with the wrong crew and got caught stealing from the wrong crowd, and was imprisoned in stasis for 50 years. Now, even though Mas is a thief, he does value one thing above all else – loyalty. Since it’s been 5 decades (Mas hasn’t aged a day – perks of being imprisoned in stasis!) and revenge is pretty much off the table (they’re probably really old or even dead…), Mas decided to move on, but vowed will not be anyone’s scapegoat again. He might have changed his mind about making a name for himself (shadows are your best friend when you’re a thief…) but he’s still the same old Mas – don’t take your eyes off those hands or you might find yourself naked and penniless…Family
Mas is a little secretive about his family, status unknown.
