Torm

The True, The Loyal Fury, The Hand of Righteousness

Torm the True, one of The Eres and a main contributor to the creation of Naneth. While he didn't begin work on Naneth alongside Eldath and Silvanus, he was loyal to them and the other Eres to a fault, and felt personally attacked as The Betrayal occurred.   During the conflict began by The Betrayal, Torm fought beside Silvanus, Sandrum and other good natured Eres. Torm was instrumental during this conflict, displaying great prowess in combat versus The Dead Three. Because of this, the great Dragon, Bahamut, honored Torm, by joining him in battle. Torm, mounted upon Bahamut, brought the fight directly to Bane, the leader of The Dead Three. Torm challenged Bane to single combat, and battled the traitor across the landscape of Naneth. The fight lasted for several days and nights, finally ending in the far reaches of northern Naneth. Among the ice and snow, Torm cast down his enemy, banishing him and his companions, Bhaal and Myrkul, to The Underblaze. This region would later be known as Torm's Fist   For his great deeds in battle, Torm was rewarded by Eldath with the right to create a final race of mortal upon the world. Torm created Humans, the race that would eventually come to dominate Naneth. After Torm had finished his creation, he retreated to Empyrean, his own personal Plane of Existence. Alongside him, Sune, the goddess of love, settled with Torm in Empyrean. They had grown quite close during the Age of Creation, and wished to spend eternity in each other's company.

Worshipers

Torm is one of the most widely recognized and worshiped god in the entirety of Naneth. One would find members of almost every race, showering Torm with devotion and praise. Of course, humans are Torm's primary followers, as he created them. Statues, temples, shrines and other buildings and structures are present in every human dominated city across Naneth. In fact, several organizations, such as the Uhara and Emery Sanctums of Paladins were created to follow the will of Torm.   Apart from Paladins, Clerics are the other primary followers of Torm, dealing out his healing power and justice to those in need of it. Torm asks that his followers remain brave, heroic and loyal in the face of darkness, as showing courage and strength against the horrors of Naneth is a sure way to ascend to Empyrean, for an afterlife spent with The Hand of Righteousness.
