Bahamut

Lord of the North Wind, Father of the Dragonborn, King of Dragons

Appearing as a beautiful silver dragon, Bahamut (ba-ha-mut) is one of the most ancient and powerful of the majestic race of dragon. While not truly a god in physical form, Bahamut has been around since the beginning of the Age of Creation. He would have been birthed by Eldath and Silvanus, as they filled Naneth with good natured creatures.   During the conflict of The Eres and The Dead Three. Bahamut served as the glorious mount for Torm, and rode into battle as equals. For his part in the conflict, Eldath gifted Bahamut with a race of creatures, born in the image of a dragon; the Dragonborn. Bahamut became an ever present god and mentor to the early generations of Dragonborn.   During the Age of Fire, after the departure of The Eres, Bahamut remained on Naneth. It was discovered that before their banishment to TheUnderblaze, The Dead Three created a polar opposite to Bahamut, the evil Queen of Chromatic Dragons; Tiamat. It was during this age that Tiamat attacked the creations of The Eres, forcing them to become slaves to her empire of darkness. When the Humans, Dwarves, and Elves rose up in defiance of Tiamat, beginning the War of Fire, Bahamut joined them. During the final push into The Red Wastes, Bahamut played a major part in the distraction that eventually led to the downfall of Tiamat.   As the Age of Fire ended and the Age of Mists began, Bahamut and his dragonborn followers disappeared into the The Teeth taking shelter from the toxic mists.

Worshipers

Known as the "Father of the Dragonborn", Bahamut has risen to the level of Torm and the other gods in the minds of Dragonborn across Naneth. Although Bahamut has not been seen since the Age of Fire, it is rumored that he still yet resides on the highest peaks of Naneth, keeping a watchful eye over the mortal races. Apart from dragonborn, the good willed members of the Dragon species also attempt to follow Bahamut's example of heroism and wisdom, as long as their base animalistic urges do not interfere.
