Bhaal

Lord of Murder, Member of The Dead Three

Bhaal (b-aLL) was one of The Eres who became jealous over the creation of Naneth, and in secret betrayed his kin, along with Bane and Myrkul.   During the events of The Betrayal, Bhaal followed and fought alongside Bane. When they were defeated by the other Eres, Bhaal was banished to the Underblaze. Together with Bane and Myrkul, they now make up The Dead Three. Bhaal now rules his own separate layer of hell, awaiting his chance to ascend alongside his companions, back to Naneth. Bhaal appears now as a large humanoid creature adorned in horrible black iron.

Worshipers

The Quaan Empire requires complete devotion to the members of The Dead Three, Bhaal included. Followers of Bhaal glorify their lord by committing atrocious acts in the form of brutal murders. The murders or betrayals of trusted friends or family members especially brings Bhaal joy. Those that commit such acts, become known as "Bhaalspawn" and await a glorious reunion with their lord upon their own deaths.    Like Bane and Myrkul, worship of Bhaal outside the confines of the Quaan Empire would mean certain death if discovered. Typically only secret cults follow Bhaal's teachings, or other creatures such as Hags.

Artifacts

"Keez Akul"; A dagger that may only be wielded by those with true hate in their hearts. It is said the dagger thirsts for the blood of the innocent and pure.
