Council of the Clock

The ruling government body of Ile, the Council of the Clock is made up of twelve ruling Hours, each ruling a section of the planet. Beneath them are four Quarter-Hours, and beneath them are Minutes. Ranging from the title of mayor to governor to constable, minutes are prevalent through out the branches of government and city management.

As the ruling body in Ile, the majority of the planets wealth and resources is under their control and influence. Each member of the clock maintains specific control of a sliver of the planet, and each reaps the varied bounties thereof.

History

Founded in 1020, the Council of the Clock sought to bring order to a war-ravaged world struggling to function in the ruins of what was left behind. Originally the Clock rose to power through questionable means, but installed a sense of stability to the planet not seen in hundreds of years. Once again the Steam planet breathes in perfect time under their hands.
