History
Founded by the Cadwell Three shortly after the end of the thousand year war, Steamhaven was Nicholas Cadwell's private estate originally, that then expanded into a small township under the Cadwell Family's guidance. The town was prosperous but notoriously unlucky, and best known for the Three Tragedies that occurred shortly before the fall of the Floating Islands.
Architecture
The town has suffered more than one fire over the years, but currently is largely made of brick and oak wood, heavily accented with brass pipework and machinery.
Geography
Clustered around the mouth of the Pearl River, Steamhaven is nestled in the valley of the smallest Floating Island, south of the Ferrum Woods.
Natural Resources
Steamhaven sustains itself largely on the patronage of nearby Sootbury.
