Ebonwatch

The seat of the Ninth Hour, Endurance Payne, Ebonwatch is the heavily industrialized beating heart of Ile. Perched on the cliffs splintering the sands of the @Adenium Desert, the sprawling metropolis is gritty and dark and hot, home to the most hardened people of the Clock's domain.

Demographics

Largely orkish, the city also maintains sizable tiefling, human, and elvish populations. As is typical in all places, there's also quite a bit of blending between the present races. The wealthy class in Ebonwatch is largely made up of the Payne family and Endurance Payne's Quarter Hours. There are a few wealthy landlords and business owners, but the majority of Ebonwatch's population is poor, working class.

Government

Ebonwatch is the seat of an Hour, making it a place of great power, and great control. The 9th Hour rules with an Iron Fist, and the Black City is a place of brutal efficiency.
