Tezcacoatl
Tezcacoatl clings to the edge of a terraced hillside overlooking a sacred river that winds like a silver serpent through the valley below. The village hums with life and color with brilliantly painted adobe homes with thatched roofs of woven palm fronds rise in orderly rows. At the village’s center stands a stepped pyramid carved from dark volcanic stone.
