Frey
Frey are the people with roots in Freynia. Freys are told to come from Vilen people, and they sailed generations ago to west and populated the eastern edge of Umeros.They are sailors, merchants and builders, and often suffer from the case of travel lust and stingyness.

The family names are very similar to ones found ámong the humans of North Velkas, but during the years the frey have come up with several names of their own. Names with prefix "Von" are related to present or previous rank of nobility.

Major language groups and dialects
Usually freys only speak common, due to the large spread usage of the language and it being their native tongue. That said, many freys are one way or another tied to sailing and trade, thus knowing little about languages of your neighbors can be very useful. Most likely languages to be studied by a frey are Dwarvish and Elvish.
Culture and cultural heritage
The frey are related to the Vilen of North Velkas, making vilens their most closest relatives. Frey separated from the vilen due to cultural and political unrest, and while the two groups have been apart for hundreds of years, they two cultures still influence one another and the Vilen influence among frey is easy to see.
