Grand Sarost
You gave thanks for the protection my son gave you, young Tur'up. Now, your Sarost requires a payment for services rendered, and you refuse. tsk Not a good look for you, my Tarunan friend.
Fwe Altunain have as much power as the Grand Sarost. Once a tribal leader, the title has become synonymous with crime syndicates and the largest single mass assination of political figures in recent history.
While there are seven officially designated Grand Sarost among the Sarost Familes, several minor Sarosts head their more individual families in much the same way.
Requirements
Only Altunain older than sixty-seven years of adulthood are allowed to be Sarost, but neccesities can allow the title of Grand Sarost to be passed to a leader younger than the traditional age. However, the needs of the family must come first, and so any Sarost must be able to provide arms and training to their portion of the family.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Your Sarost has compromised the whole family of Altuni with his talks of laying down arms. We have been dishonored by the Alliance, and to sit here and let the remaining Administrators walk over the families good will is ubhorent! I ask the Council, for the sake of all of Altuni, to please strip my mother, Amir Kal'era, of the title of Grand Sarost.
The term Sarost originates from the Inbaric Altuaini words Sarin and Rost. Traditionally the term means Exalted Father, and has been used to reference patriarchs, government leaders, and other similar titles of leadership. In modern times, the term is gender neutral, though the feminine Saralli isnstill sometimes used.
