Influence [Charisma]

This skill focuses on how to fit in, show that you’re the alpha, teach others or bargain for better deals.


Specializations:

s Etiquette [Charisma] is knowing the proper decorum in various social circles. Unless specific to the character’s background, greater ranks means that the character has observed how to act regardless of the types of people present and to suitably fit in.

s Instruct [Charimsa] is rolled when one attempts to teach someone else a skill or spell.


s Intimidate [various] can be used when there’s some show of force to scare a character’s targets. For example, a fast, well-worded threat would be linked to [Charisma], a flashy fire-based spell could use [Magic], or holding one’s bare hand on an open flame could use [Willpower], and smashing something could use [Strength]. An Opposed Test, Intimidate is usually defended against by Influence: Intimidate + Willpower.

s Leadership [Charisma] is most commonly used in one of two ways: influencing NPCs to do one’s bidding (when they are already allied in some way with the leader) or as Free Actions in combat situations to better tactically work together.

s Negotiate [Charisma] involves bargaining for a better price, convince someone that their goal should take a back seat, and other such social compromises. It is always an Opposed Test versus the target’s own Influence: Negotiate + Charisma or in the case of simply stubborn people, Willpower alone.
