Therians

The Therians, considered a low race due to their limited ability to access the power of the spheres, are races of bipedal beast-men. There exist Sixteen distinct sub-races of Therians. Throughout most of Layeil's history the Therian species have been slaves alongside the Humans, but now in the age of man some of the Therian races have spread across the lands and established their own territories. Unfortunately, many are seen by the other races as inferior and treated as such, while some others still live in chains.
The most powerful sub-race of Therians are the Garuda (Bird) who have created their own Empire. The Naga (Snake) live in the lowlands of the Garuda Empire amongst giant tunnel networks running through the bottom of the mountains.
Both the Aremar (Ram) and Grok (Bear) willingly joined the Grand Republic. After the defeat of the Minos (Bull) during the Minos War the Grand Republic formed a reservation for them near their southern border. The Broegot (Frog) and the Faw (Salamander) coexist in the swamplands of Issfaw and have been given a standing invitation to join the Grand Republic.
The Wasir (Wolf) serve the Essanti willingly in Enilaar. Some Narasign (Large Cat) clans control the Murakami Islands, while other clans serve the Essanti.
The Drider (Spider/Scorpion) control the Kingdom of Morrad and have joined the Old Kingdoms Alliance.
The Mamoath (Mammoth) and Everild (Boar) are enslaved by The Seradii Empire.
The Rill (Rat) are scattered across all the territories.
The Fin (Fish/Shark), Vise (Crab), and the Noct (Squid) reside in the Outer Sea and serve the Leviathon.
