Minos

The Minos are large bipedal bullmen with man-like limbs, hooved feet, and bull-like heads. The Minos have a thick natural hide, giving them leather armor-like skin. Their hides are primarily brown, in shades of red, orange, and black. They are feared for their strength, endurance, and bloodlust. The Minos speak very brokenly, usually only able to string together up to three words at a time.   During the Minos War, the Minos primarily fought with axes and swords, and fought unarmored. After the war, and their defeat, the Grand Republic outlawed the Minos use of iron and steel, stating any Minos; hand which touches iron or steel shall be removed. Now the Minos rely on bone knives and wooden spears.   It is unknown to the Grand Republic how the Minos race arrived through the Great Seal. It is said they were friendly towards the Faw tribes they met on the northern outskirts but upon meeting with the Grand republic a bloody and brutal war, known as the Minos War broke out. The Minos slew every human in the villages they came across as they continued to march north, with no reasoning concluded by the Grand Republic. The Minos seemed to have no disregard for their dead and fought even when mortally wounded. They managed to cause widespread destruction and death even in the High Cities of Firyat and Harludar, before finally being pushed back towards the south. Over eighty percent of their numbers were killed before an armistice was brokered between the Minos and the Grand Republic. The Minos were not allowed to touch iron or steel, and in return would be allowed to live on reservations of the Grand Republic’s choosing. The Minos reluctantly agreed. The largest reservation of Minos is in the South near Issfaw and the Great Seal, which is not ideal for farming or hunting, seen as worthless to the Grand Republic, and as sufficient punishment for the unprovoked war by the Minos.   The Minos have an exponentially high amount of slingers, nearly every 1 in 50 born, which can access the sphere ability of Stamina. They have no name for themselves, but the Grand Republic called these slingers Berserkers during the war.
