Drider

The Female Drider are not bipedal, but have the lower bodies of Spiders, although they have man-like torsos, arms, and hands. They have human-like heads with 8 spider-like eyes. They also have fangs which can inject toxins. The Drider have sharp claw-like hands and can inject toxins through them. The Female Drider can also create webbing from their abdomen, and launch it as a weapon. Male Drider have Scorpion-like lower bodies and Scorpion tails. Male Drider do not have human-like hands but pincers instead.
The Drider have a natural armor-like carapace. They primarily wield spears, long axes, or swords in battle. Little is known about the Drider except they survived the Sundering by remaining loyal to the Vork Kings. After the Vork lost more and more control of the Old Kingdoms, the Drider slew the inhabitants of a former castle and renamed it Bloodsilk Castle. The Drider then conquered the lands around it renaming the land Morrad. Realizing their own numbers could not match that of the humans the Drider joined in the Alliance, being the only therian Kingdom to do so. The Drider are ruled by Queen Linn Vellara “The Blood Queen”.
All Drider slingers can access the sphere ability of Decay. Drider do not have any special title for their slingers.
