Orlane of Malgrii

Orlane is the secret court wizard and advisor to Queen Althea Sigrunsdottir var Valkra né Draconis. He was one of the heroes of the Great Malgrii War, even though the others knew that he was undead. He is a master demonologist.   Being a vampire, Orlane must consume blood to survive. However, he has found a way to use magic to replicate blood that is willingly given to him so that he does not have to kill anyone to satiate his appetite. He spends the great majority of his time in his quarters either doing research or just reading for pleasure.   Orlane has taken on Evelyn of Bakkusa as an apprentice alchemist.

Morality & Philosophy

Orlane is against slavery due to how he was treated by his mistress when he was an apprentice wizard. He is also completely loyal to Queen Althea and the Draconis line due to the help has received in the past. Those are the only things that hold his morality in check, or he would simply do as he pleased, regardless of who he hurt.
