Haida Avaxom
Haida Avaxom is a human woman who was in the town of Gharob when the earthquake hit the festival. Haida fell through the Seam and landed in the river. She lost consciousness in the river, but was pulled out by Davaa and Evsalom onto a floating mushroom crown knocked down by Kaziel.
She is now traveling with the group of survivors, attempting to find a way out of the Mushroom Seam.
Personality
Haida is a clever capable woman. She is greedy and selfish, but follows a strict code, she always repays a debt and never causes harm to those she deems do-gooders. She has a filthy mouth, but avoids speaking to those she doesn’t trust. She prefers Oram and Liberias.
Haida has been quiet throughout much of the escape. She has been hanging on Evsalom, flirting with him and trying to keep him from doing anything too dangerous. This was revealed to be part of a ploy to use Evsalom for blackmail.

History
<br>Haida was born in Medigil, the daughter of a local guardsman and his wife. Her father tried his best by her, but the mother was abusive. Haida grew up wanting to be like her father, doing good things in the world. However, when her father was killed during a tavern brawl. While the local lord took care of his family, providing a generous stipend, Haida, her siblings and mother lived on the cusp of poverty.<br><br>Haida went into criminal activities in order to make up for the family’s lack of money. They never wanted for food, but she wanted more, and felt she deserved more. She started out with small petty crimes, but it wasn’t the act of stealing that thrilled her, it was being involved in larger schemes, plotting. She was quickly accepted into the local crime family, and has been making a name for herself.<br><br>She was in Gharob when the earthquake struck in order to meet with a local connection there, her hope was to establish a fence and base of operations for expanding the crime family’s reach into the barony of Asgarov.
The Mushroom Seam
Haida fell into the river and injured herself, losing consciousness. Davaa, with the assistance of Evsalom, attempted to pull the drowning woman ashore. They struggled to find purchase against the tide, but Kaziel used a firebolt to knock down a mushroom crown that they were able to use as a float. Davaa left Evsalom to revive her while he checked on the others. It was a close call, but Evsalom brought her back and the two of them made it to shore in time to have to flee from the slithering horrors. Haida then left with the group of survivors on their way to find an exit to the Seam. When the party split in order to explore the source of the strange sounds, Haida decided to stay back with Nadir, Sahar, and Saidari. However, when the call for Nadir came, Haida immediately followed, not wanting to be left behind. After the battle against the Horned creatures, Haida was revealed to be flirting with Evsalom and staying close to him. Later, when Kaziel revealed the death of Abdamar to Evsalom, Haida approached him to learn what had upset Evsalom. During the conversation, she revealed that she had information about Evsalom and was intending to blackmail Abdamar, however with Abdamar's death, her plans would need to change. She asked Kaziel to make sure that Evsalom makes it out of there.
