Human

Humans are the largest humanoid population, spread throughout the world of Kriadar. Humans are also the most diverse peoples, with a wide variety of ethnic groups and cultures. Humans can be found in all walks of life, and are behind many of the nations in the world.

History

Origin

The exact origin of humans is a widely debated topic among scholars, one that carries great political and metaphysical weight. Archaeological evidence and Elven oral historical records both reveal early pre-developed human groups were located in both Klo'ais and Deroh at approximately the same period, with the earliest records, by a few hundred years pointing more heavily towards Deroh.

Early Development

Humans quickly spread across the world, developing into separate groups of people. This spread can be attributed to the natural migratory behavior of early humans, but is also believed to be the result of a cataclysmic event. Most scholars believe it to be a mix of the two, specifically pointing to Kamakaric group and, at times, the Renamic group as evidence of a catastrophe leading to their migration.

The Kamakaric Arrival

While the earliest human civilizations were in their budding state, a major shift in the balance of human cultures arrived. The exact origin of the Kamakaric people is heavily debated, but within a 500 year span, several Kamakaric tribes arrived in Kriadar and settled along coastal regions.

Ancient Empires

Throughout the world, the human's began a process of centralization, creating empires and kingdoms that would compete with one another and other species for territory. It is around this period that many of the modern religions of today are seen in their early form, and some of the oldest still surviving nations began to form.
