Kaziel Shahadra
Kaziel Shahadra is a well-dressed Tiefling who has recently traveled to the region of Gharob, where he was trapped in the earthquake that sent him hurtling into the Mushroom Seam.

The Mushroom Seam
Falling into the earth, Kaziel expected death, but instead found himself hurtled into a river in the midst of a mushroom forest. He fought to get out of the water as he was being swept away when he felt Evsalom pull him by his horn to safety. Wanting to dry off, Kaziel ignored the rest of the survivors and lit for himself a bonfire. However, when he saw Evsalom and Davaa struggling to save Haida he stepped into action and knocked down a mushroom to be used as a float. During the attack by the horrors, Kaziel threw fire among the enemies, killing several of them, including one that stood out from the others with tentacles hanging from where its mouth should have been. Afterwards, he joined the party of survivors as they searched for a way out of the Seam. Later, when Davaa and Darcassian heard a strange noise that only they and the owl Nura could hear, Kaziel volunteered to scout ahead with Davaa. When Davaa grew sick from the noise, Kaziel returned and set forth with Nadir, who quickly turned back after pulling a card of bad omens. Kaziel was part of the group considering turning back at this point when Semolina, Ataidas and Evasalom decided to move forward and he, along with Davaa and Bixi, decided to join them. When the search party grew closer to the source of the noise, just around the other side of a large blue mushroom, Kaziel expanded his voice, calling for Nadir and reuniting the party in preparation for the battle to come. That evening, while making camp, Kaziel revealed to Evsalom that his cousin Abdamar had died. While the distraught Evsalom took time to be on his own, Haida approached Kaziel, extremely stressed over this discovery. She revealed that she has information about Evsalom that she was hoping Abdamar would pay to keep silent, however now she must rethink her plans. She asked Kaziel to keep Evsalom safe while she rethinks her plot. Later, when the party was investigating the ruins, Kaziel recognized a statue as being representative of one of the Dominion Lords. With this knowledge in hand, he reached out telepathically to speak in Vialo to the Horned Ones' leader. He convinced the leader to join forces, that together they can get his people out of this plane and continue the conquest of the Dominion.
