Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Grassgrove is a heavily muscled brunette with an unpleasant and jagged scar running from her left temple over her lips to her chin. She looks as though she’s permanently scowling, even while laughing. For reasons unknown, the wound has resisted all efforts to magically heal, and she's discontinued the attempts.
Facial Features
The disfiguring scar on her face is instantly recognizable. She briefly carried the nickname "Scar" from Taggert Clanless, but what she did to him afterwards resulted in the two of them being cellmates for a week. He never called her Scar again, and incidentally he's never looked her in the eye since.
Apparel & Accessories
Grassgrove wears heavy armor, usually with the helmet on even on regular patrols. In civilian garb, she wears finery and more often than not favors an elf-style veil.

Personal history
Grassgrove grew up as a huntress in the wild. Her parents were druids in Catamount Grassgrove, and she was raised as much by the cougar prides as she was by her parents. Wanting to give her a choice, her parents brought her to finish her teenage years prior to adulthood in Alcedene.
She went on her Becoming at the same time as Neric Clanless. They were to stalk, trap and kill a beast hunting livestock on Foxhollow Farm. The beast turned out to be a griffin, which got the drop on them from above. They killed it quickly, but not before she was wounded and received a disfiguring and permanently painful scar. She has never particularly cared for the wild after that and announced her decision to stay in Alcedene to her parents.
She was adopted into the Laughingpelt family after her parents left her in Alcedene, and employed by Ellayne Warbough in the Alcedene Guard Force as a scout and marksman.
As a guard, she has a knack for showing up at surprising moments, fading out of the shadows like a ghost despite the heavy armor she wears. It is thought that she is Ellayne’s chief rumormonger. She enjoys organizing competitions, and is always seeking donations to use as or buy prizes for various games. She especially loves holiday games.
