Personal history
Bulig Flamedraft was born in Alcedene into the Flamedraft family. He apprenticed for almost all of his childhood under his father, Master Smith Terrence Flamedraft.
Bulig's Becoming was to travel to Lorical to renew a trade agreement. To go on this quest, he forged his own weapons and armor, already high quality for a journeyman. He was successful, though the mayor of Lorical gave him a bit of trouble with seemingly endless tasks and busywork. It wasn't until Bulig lost his temper and struck the gathering bell, putting a crack in the brass that the mayor had relented.
Afterwards, he traveled the continent to observe other smiths. He occasionally tells tales of his travels, and he's a popular source of entertainment for the village children. One story he never tells involves his meeting with Vizzerdrum, and his talent for working with kadenium. He made his masterpiece out of the material, and sufficiently impressed the old dragonborn wizard with his skill that they started a mutually beneficial arrangement. Vizzerdrum supplies the material and Bulig works it.
