General Physical Condition
Ari might be considered elf-like, by someone who doesn't mind dying. She's small, lithe, and scrappy.
Special abilities
As a Blue, Ari is psionic. In particular, she has developed an ability that she simply calls Bliss. She drills pure, undiluted joy directly into someone's brain until all other feelings are pushed out. It only lasts a few moments but the memories will continue for a lifetime. It is equal parts weapon and reward.
She learned that charming people or outright dominating them was unreliable, but addicting them to her was just as good and left fewer hurt feelings when she left. And if years down the line they spare a fond or wistful thought for her then all the better.

Personal history
Ari Karkat was born to a captain in the 5th Legion. Her mother was ordered to leave her in the wilderness to die. Her mother obliged, but Ari was saved by a Goblin who thought to use her power to gain an edge. Ari spent years on the streets in Shekec running cons and collecting blackmail. She eventually fled the city to avoid a gang of thugs that were angry about being conned but not afraid of her blackmail.
She fell in with a small group of Orcs that awakened her battle lust, but that gang, too, was wiped out and she was briefly taken captive by the 11th Legion. They assumed that she was with the 15th Legion and traded her in a prisoner exchange. She immediately began rising through the ranks.
Her claim to fame was ideas. The Weirdboys were operating as a fairly conventional Hobgoblin Legion with the burden of psychic static. It was Ari that came up with ideas and stratagems suited to their unique talents, and it has allowed them to punch above their weight in a number of areas.
Sexuality
Ari habitually manipulates people, and her psionics ensure that when they've been taken they are hers. Consequently she has a harem of several dozen that are completely devoted to her, and she's as unaware as they are that she's more or less lobotomized them with her Bliss ability.
Mental Trauma
Having been abandoned by her mother and being raised by a literal monster who wanted to simply use her for crimes, she truly cares for her Legion as if it was her own family. The depths of Hell she'd sink to in order to protect or avenge even the lowest member of the 15th are best not thought of.
Intellectual Characteristics
Ari Karkat is a Sanguine personality, a consequence of years of running cons. Living in the 'psionic soup' of the camp is one of her favorite aspects of the Legion.
