Nowch
Nowch is the largest continent on Ithica and is believed to be the original land all other continents broke away from. Nowch is the home to the planes most predominant history. The deep seas around it are so stormy and filled with aggressive sea monstrosities, that travel too and from Nowch is incredibly difficult. There are four major countries on Nowch as well as several city states.
On the west coast is the religious country of Benara On the east coast is the pure blood focused, racism fueled country of Krata. In the south east is the peaceful nation of Iter. In the South west is the trade hub resource deprived country of Myria.
The major city states of Nowch are Palmata, Dark Mound, Atark, Snowbright ,and Great Bird.
Geography
There are six distinct regions to Nowch. The Dragons Maw Mountains cover the entire northern region of the continent. The Wilds is a massive expanse of forest edging the Dragon Maw Mountains. The Mintar Desert splits the continent in half and is edged to its east by the Dragon Spine Mountain Ridge. The west coast is predominantly grasslands that transition to open plains before reaching the Mintar Desert. The east coast on the other hand is made up plains, rivers, and marshland.
