Iter is a peaceful country built on the foundations of education, cooperation, and innovation.

Democratically elected Grand Master, with democratically elected local representatives to form a supporting council and from those elected members the Grand Master assigns roles like Master of Commerce, Master of war, etc.

History
Founded out of a necessity to organize. The country was formed when many villages and towns in the region found they were having a hard time managing supplies and resources. Starting as a collective trade group, it slowly became clear, how with little work the region could become almost entirely self sustaining with the development of a few roads, communication and trade routes, and the sharing of a few simple systems to improve each areas farming. This easing of their lives, mostly provided by good climate, and the ability to farm year round led the people of Iter to put a great focus on experimentation and education. Without it having been the goal, Iter slowly became a repository of knowledge, and the forefront of research in all things on Nowch.
Demography and Population
The bulk of the Population live in major city centers with about a quarter of the population across large farmland areas.
Military
Iter has no standing army.
Foreign Relations
Iter has good relations with the other countries of Nowch. They have a working educational relationship with Benara . There are on going issues between Dark Mound and Iter and there apposing views on handling public education. Iter's many educational instutions have policies of varying degrees on avoiding educating those form Dark Mound.
Agriculture & Industry
The bulk of the countries land is farmland and so their primary industry is the farming of grains, corn, fruit trees, as well all assortment of livestock.
Trade & Transport
Well maintained roadways and a national trade service act as the main arteries for the transport of food throughout Iter.
Education
There are several major public education facilities in the capital and one in each city or town with over 1000 people. Boarding schools are placed for optimal population density in the areas with more spread out populations, like the large portions of the country that are farmland.
Additionally there are several locations with higher education facilities or specialized learning facilities. The cost to students vary, some being free to other being almost impossible to access without a small fortune.
