History
Palmata started as a very small settlementa few hundred people living comfortably. THe island population bgan to grow about 200 years ago and then spiked after Izret formed the guild and made it knowhis goal to set up it sprimary home of operations on the island. this led to the settlement reapidly developing and building itself around the guild as a focal point.
Tourism
the island is a tropicla paradise and with the popularity of the guild draw both clients and would be adventurers there has een a grwing tourism industry presenting palmata as a place to relax and let your worries wash away. beaches and forest getaway free of the dangers of the wilds are quite attractive to thos on the mainland.
